TICKR — Financial Market Data Automation System

TICKR is a production financial data automation system developed to solve a real operational need within a financial institution. It automates the process of collecting daily End-of-Day market data from external providers, processing and standardizing the data, and storing it for use in internal systems, analysis, and reporting.

The system supports multiple data providers through a flexible architecture, allowing providers to be added or replaced without rebuilding the core system. It also validates incoming data, handles execution errors, logs operations, and runs automatically according to a predefined schedule.

The solution provides a complete workflow from market data collection and processing to structured reporting and exporting data in multiple formats for analysis and sharing.
